The superior gets much longer time ageing in barrel. This blend is an average of 14 to 15 years in barrel. The extra time gives this wine a more complex and oxidative style. The fruits become more dried orange, raisins, figs and prunes. There is more of the nuttiness than the younger sibling, with almond and walnut, and the toffee sugar note too.

Sweet, but balanced acidity, this wine finished clean with a lovely pithy bitterness that lasts.
