At the heart of the Iberian peninsula, Rueda is known for its aromatic dry whites, with the Verdejo grape dominating the area.
Almost the entirety of the region is dedicated to white wine varieties, Sauvignon Blanc parcels dominating what isn't already taken up with Verdejo. Local soils rich in lime and iron, along with a continental climate of hot days and cool nights, leave the resulting wines with great acidity.
