Grape Varieties Malvasia

The very rare Malvasia de Colares is different to other malvasia varieties, and is well adapted to, and able to be planted ungrafted in the sandy soils of this very special DOC region.

Ramilo only make a tiny amount of this wine, where free-run juice is lightly encouraged from whole bunches and fermented and aged in barrel. Although released relatively young when compared to some other wines of the region, this will be a long-lived wine of exceptional quality.
