Grape Varieties Sauvignon Blanc and Maria Gomes

From a single vineyards area, named Vineyard of Sparrows after the local inhabitants. It's a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Maria Gomes (aka Fernao Pires), made very simply in stainless steel to retain vibrancy and freshness of fruit. Lovely citrus and vegetal character from the SB, and stone fruit and florals from the MG, plus minerality and good acidity from the terroir. What more could you wish for?
