One of the great, classic red wines of the Alentejo. Quinta do Mouro and its owner Miguel Louro don't court publicity, and in the pantheon of Portugal's iconic wines, remains almost enigma-like. 

But the wine is extraordinary, earning high praise from Robert Parker (his Portuguese 'face' is Mark Squires) who awarded the 2007 with 94 points.
