Grape Varieties: Pinot Noir

The Schiefer Pinot Noir represents the grape variety from a regional perspective. Blended from several sites, it shows the classic style of the Ahr Valley, in the hands of Marc, of course!

Surprising ripeness of fruit is balanced beautifully with the earthy character of great Pinot Noir. A hint of kitsch, sweet and sour cherry, bramble fruits and barrel age. Soft, elegant tannins frame everything on the palate, and the acidity keeps the finish fresh and long.
