A new introduction to LDF's single vineyard collection of wines. The Vinha do Sobreiro is an old parcel at high altitude in the Pinhao valley. This field blend of grapes is foot trodden and fermented in lagar, and aged in new French oak barrels for a year. It was then aged in bottle for 5 years before release. It's a wonderfully complex, bold but elegant wine, ready for drinking.
