As a result of years of experimentation and learning alongside Dirk Niepoort, Carlos knew the direction he wanted to take his Vinho Verde wine. Sourcing grapes from old vineyards on granite soils, Carlos has crafted a wine of delicacy and precision. Ageing the wine in concrete, with time on lees, has resulted in texture and weight balanced by vibrancy of citrus fruit character.
