From a single vineyard plot, of the same name, this wine is a dark and rich expression of Mencia. concentration of fruit aided by the southern exposure. Lots of earthy, black, hedgerow berry fruit, with some stalkiness and herbaceous character. Plenty of grippy tannins, but all balanced with elegant acidity.
