Grape Varieties Boal

A very special, single-vineyard AND Single Cask wine, called Vinha  da Torre, located in Campanario, the parish thought to have produced Boal grapes for the longest. It is owned by João dos Reis, a long-time friend of Ricardo and his family.

The wine has been aged using the canteiro method and produced from the single barrel. It has a lovely, fresh floral aroma, with notes of pine, apricot, ripe citrus, white raisins, caramel, and candied fruit. The sweetness is balanced by a spicy, fresh acidity, with a lingering finish.
